Slowly does it...

We've had the shutters down for the past couple of months, but been busy behind the scenes working away on our pre-alpha launch, talking to our future users about their likes and dislikes, and doing lots of studies on the competitive landscape. Brendan's even managed to do a bit of coding along the way.

We've settled in a few shared workspaces, met lots of other great start-ups, and learnt an awful lot about asking for money too!

Our pre-alpha launch is getting close. And we're hoping to getting that rolling in the next week or so, which will ebb us even closer to a beta launch.

Aggrity Reborn

I've now joined Brendan with the aim of rebirthing Aggrity, as the greatest aggregation platform in town! At the moment the curtains are drawn as we tinker behind the scenes to refine the existing features, and introduce a range of new ones.

We're also working on refining the design, and making it a destination not just for experts, but also for anyone seeking out information on their topic.

I've been trying my hand at CSS and some web development, but have decided to leave that to the experts!

We're just launching our Facebook page, and we will also keep you up to date on Twitter. And we'll let you know when our shiny new site is up and running.

First outing of Aggrity.com

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Aggrity.com!

We've just put enough together to start sharing aggrity.com with others -- in particular, we've launched a "planet"-style aggregator for the London Java Community at ljc.aggrity.com.

Thanks to Martijn and Barry from LJC for their patience and encouragement in getting Aggrity to this point.

We are looking forward to introducing many more features as we grow Aggrity.com over the coming weeks and months, but we thought we have enough functionality together now so that we can start sharing it with the public.

In true "lean startup" style, we wanted to launch with the bare minimum that's useful to people.

If you have any great ideas for new features then feel free to add them in the comments field here or -- even better -- on our GetSatisfaction site.
